Return Policy


At Dow Furniture, we strive to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes a piece of furniture just isn't the right fit. To ensure you find the perfect items for your home, we've outlined our return policy below. 

General Return Guidelines

  • Time Limit: Most furniture must be returned within 7 days of delivery or pickup.

  • Condition: All returned products must be in showroom condition. This means no stains, aromas, scratches, or breakdown of any components (foams, leather, upholstery, wood, trim, or spring/support mechanisms).

  • Store Credit Only: All eligible returns will receive store credit for the approved amount.

  • One Exchange: You are allowed one exchange per purchase.

Specific Return Scenarios

  • Online Purchases:

    • Must be returned within 7 days in showroom condition.

    • A 30% restocking fee will apply.

    • A $79 pickup fee will be charged if delivery is required for the return.

    • The remaining balance will be issued as store credit.

  • In-Stock Furniture Returned Within 7 Days:

    • If you return furniture within 7 days and make another selection, a $79 delivery fee will be charged if redelivery is needed. You'll receive store credit for the original purchase amount, minus the delivery fee.

    • If you return furniture within 7 days without making another selection (no reselection), a minimum of 15% restocking fee will be charged, plus a $79 pickup fee if redelivery is needed. The remaining balance will be issued as store credit.

  • In-Stock Furniture Returned After 7 Days:

    • Returns made after 7 days are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee, the exact amount determined by management based on the furniture's showroom condition. Returns made after 7 days are subject to management approval.

    • A $79 local re-delivery fee will apply if pickup is required. Additional charges may apply for locations beyond our 35-mile local delivery radius.

  • Mattress Exchanges:

    • Mattresses are only eligible for a one time exchange. 

    • As detailed in the manufacturers warranty, stained or soiled mattresses cannot be returned for any reason.

    • You must purchase a mattress protector with us to be eligible for an exchange.

    • You have a total of 60 days to exchange your mattress from your delivery date. Tempur-Pedic exclusively allows a 90 day trial.

    • We do require you to sleep on the mattress for a minimum of 30 nights prior to your exchange.

    • With an exchange you will only receive 90% of your original purchase price to go towards your new selection excluding Latex mattresses and Tempur-pedic.

    • Tempur-Pedic allows full credit for your exchange.

    • Latex mattresses require a higher restocking fee of 30%.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or cancellation:

  • Special Orders: Any product not typically stocked by Dow Furniture. These may only be approved for return or cancellation with special authorization from the General Manager.

  • Clearance Merchandise

  • Comfort Swap Mattresses

  • Special Purchases

  • AS-IS Products

  • Red Hot Deals

  • Warranty Exchanges: Manufacturer's warranties supersede this return policy for warranty-related issues.
