Q: What do you stock and what do you have to order?

A: At Dow Furniture we are consistently getting new furniture and mattresses delivered to our store in order to replenish our impressive selection of in-stock products.

For furniture, we sell a nice selection off of our floor unlike some stores that will only sell from the warehouse or make you special order everything. This helps us keep our floor fresh with the latest styles, trends, and comforts and allows our customers to take something home they see on our showroom floor or that we have backed up in our warehouse today! Sometimes items are marked as "Order Only" on the floor due to supply chain fluctuations and order patters, so if we don’t have stock available immediately or you want to order your furniture in another fabric or finish we have many special order options available for many of our companies. The lead time for special orders will vary from company to company and our sales associates can provide you with an approximate lead time based upon the product that you are wanting to order. 

For mattresses, we have a great showroom for customers to tryout our hand picked selection to see what might fit them best. We back up many of our mattresses in our warehouse in various sizes so you can take home your selection as soon as today! If we have to order your mattress, we regularly have orders being placed. Order lead times vary based upon manufacturers and can range from 2-4 weeks based upon the company and supply chain. Our salespeople can update you on the latest lead times).


Q: Should I get a new mattress and foundation?

A: Buying a new mattress is an investment for your sleep and we value that at Dow Furniture. To protect your investment we typically recommend buying a new foundation or boxspring if your frame requires one. A new foundation will provide a flat even surface for the mattress to rest on, which will help with the longevity of your mattress. Please see one of our mattress experts for further guidance.


Q Do you deliver?

A: Dow Furniture offers free local delivery and set up on most purchases over $399 within approximately 35 mile driving distance of the store. We certainly have customers that we deliver to beyond the 35 mile driving distance, there would just be a delivery fee calculated based upon the overall driving distance. Please call, text or email our store for more information about delivery possibilities beyond our local area.

A: Dow’s Discount offers delivery also at a fee of $75 within 35 miles. This is due to extra discounts already given on the furniture and mattresses. We certainly have customers that we deliver to beyond the 35 mile driving distance, there would just be a delivery fee calculated based upon the overall driving distance. Q: What is your return policy?

A: Our mattress and furniture experts pride themselves with finding you the right furniture and mattress but sometimes it just isn’t right. At Dow Furniture we do have a comfort exchange policy and furniture return policy that can allow you to change your furniture or mattress out.

Special Orders are not subject to cancellation and are all final.


Q: Will my mattress get body impressions?

A: In the normal course of sleeping on your mattress, body impressions will appear. This is not a structural defect. It is simply an indication that the upholstery layers and foams are settling and compacting as you use your new mattress. These impressions will occur within a few weeks. Periodically rotating your mattress may minimize the amount of impressions that you see, though they will still exist. All major mattress manufacturers consider body impressions normal. A body impression is defined as any indentation (while you are not on your mattress) of less than 1.5-2 inches (for most innerspring mattresses) or .75 inches for many memory foam mattresses, and are not covered under warranty. At Dow Furniture we desire to do everything possible to make each and every customer happy. We want you to know and expect that any mattress you purchase from Dow Furniture or any other store will get body impressions.
